We are honoured to have received this award, which highlights a Canoo partner’s outstanding commitment to fostering connections and a sense of belonging for newcomers, both through the app and out in the community.
In 2025, Danse Danse offered 289 discounted tickets across 12 works, giving Canoo members the opportunity to experience a leading cultural program in Montreal.
We are genuinely proud to be part of this remarkable initiative.

“At Danse Danse, we see dance as a meeting ground — a space where stories from elsewhere resonate here, on stage, in the audience, and between communities. We are deeply moved and proud to receive this recognition, which shines a light on a partnership that is making a real difference in the journey of newcomers to Montreal.
Welcoming these audiences is especially meaningful to us, as our programming brings together cultures, aesthetics, and narratives from around the world. This partnership with Canoo is central to our commitment: together, we open doors, create shared moments, and offer experiences where everyone can see themselves reflected and feel they belong. When bodies move together, distances fade. And that’s where a sense of belonging begins.”

The Institute for Canadian Citizenship (ICC) is a national organization working toward a Canada where immigrants don’t just settle—they thrive, become citizens, and fully contribute to the country’s richness.
Through its Canoo app, the ICC offers newcomers and their families free access to must-see cultural experiences, while also providing practical tools to help them put down roots. Since 2010, more than 950,000 members have joined the Canoo community.
