Worth Celebrating
Sylvain Émard has been awarded the 2026 Artistic Achievement Award as part of the Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards.
Danse Danse has had the pleasure of hosting Sylvain Émard’s productions on several occasions throughout its history. His work at once sensitive, rigorous, and deeply unifying, continues to inspire us and leaves a lasting mark on the contemporary dance landscape.
Worth Recognizing
Guillaume Côté has been included in the 2027 edition of the Petit Larousse illustré.
An internationally renowned dancer and choreographer from Quebec, Guillaume Côté is a prominent figure in our recent history. Audiences of Danse Danse have had the opportunity to see him in productions such as Hamlet, Burn Baby, Burn, and Crypto. This recognition attests to the breadth of his career and his contribution to dance.

CAPAS • Label de danse and Avec Sheila have joined forces to launch Maison Verso.
This new creative hub brings together artistic, organizational, and strategic expertise to better support the cultural projects of today and tomorrow. By combining their respective strengths under one roof, the teams at CAPAS • Label de danse and Avec Sheila are opening a new chapter of collaboration in service of artists, organizations, and their partners.
