The residency will be used to work on a new creation, FABLES, which will have its world premiere in May 2022 at the Festival Danza Lugano in Switzerland. The work is orchestrated in fragments arranged in a choreographic fabulation, depicting in the background a world filled with tensions that arise from any era in upheaval. Poetry emerges where the protagonists become the avatars of contemporary feminist fables. The creation is invested with the theme of the first edition of the festival, reviving the symbolism of Monte Verità. This famous mountain, which overlooks the LAC (Lugano Art e Cultura) theater, was the cradle at the beginning of the 20th century of micro-societies of artists, philosophers and scientists who initiated major social transformations. Today it echoes the crying need for utopia, hope and humanity.
