Each year, Danse Danse supports artists by making rehearsal spaces available, thereby allowing them to deepen several aspects of their creative work. Choreographer Virginie Brunelle, will be once again in residence at Théâtre Maisonneuve at Place des Arts.
Through a quest for humanity and authenticity both in her themes and in the choice of performers, Virginie Brunelle wishes to create an intimate link with the viewer through singular and strong proposals that know how to touch it.
After Les corps avalés, the choreographer is now diving into the creation of a new work that you will have the opportunity to see in the next seasons of Danse Danse.

Choreographer Virginie Brunelle came to dance through music. Born in 1982 in Quebec’s Montérégie region, she studied violin as a child. Impelled by her musical ability, the power of rhythm and the joy of performance, she fell in love with contemporary dance during her studies at UQAM.
