Each year, Danse Danse supports artists by making rehearsal spaces available, thereby allowing them to deepen several aspects of their creative work. Choreographer Frédérick Gravel will be in residence at Cinquième Salle at Place des Arts.

During this residency, the choreographer and his team willl be working on a solo that takes the form of an installation, that takes time, that goes beyond the duration of the performance, that can be visited like an exhibition, or experienced like a rendezvous, that can be contemplated several times. They are searching for a dance that exists in the moment, that can be seen as a landscape, but at the same time can rise like a storm. It is a solo danced by several dancers, a score that is personalized for each one of them.
