Electrifying and utterly spellbinding, the award- winning BLKDOG explodes with rebellious energy in a dance that questions our capacity for resilience. An uncompromising view of the world.

One of the most original emerging talents on the British dance scene, Botis Seva uses his art as a powerful vehicle for expressing the turbulence of our times in a hard-hitting physical language that combines hip hop and contemporary dance. With his collective Far from the Norm, founded when he was just 19, he addresses the voiceless, the disenfranchised. Inspired by a personal sense of loss and suffering, he broadens his perspective to probe the difficult individual and collective encounter with the world. How can we save the child in us when the carefree spirit of youth is slipping away? Emerging from the shadows, seven hooded performers whose faces we never see conjure up their inner torments on the path to acceptance and self-discovery, to a pounding, brooding score by Torben Sylvest. Gripping.
