How to get there
By Metro
From Place-des-Arts station, you can directly access all of Place des Arts’ venues without having to go outdoors.
By Bus
Place des Arts is on the 15, 55, 80, 125, 129 and 435 (Express) bus lines.
By Taxi
Two taxi stands are located close by the Place des Arts area:
- At the entrance located at 1600, Saint-Urbain St., on the west side, near the Maison symphonique and the Salon urbain, there is a taxi stand;
- At the entrance located at 175, Sainte-Catherine St. West, taxis park across from Complexe Desjardins, near the exit from Théâtre Maisonneuve, Théâtre Jean-Duceppe and the Espace culturel Georges-Émile-Lapalme.
By Bike or Bixi Bike
Bike racks are located near the main entrance of the Maison symphonique (1600, Saint-Urbain St.). The closest BIXI station is located at the corner of De Maisonneuve and De Bleury. To learn about other stations near Place des Arts, visit the interactive map of BIXI stations.
By paratransit
Place des Arts is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Parking
Allow 45 minutes to park in the Quartier des spectacles.

Eight parking spaces (section P1) with 240-volt charging stations are reserved for customers with electric vehicles. An additional fee will be applied.
Complexe Desjardins Parking

Acces by car or by paratransit
Our Saint-Urbai entrance (1600 rue Saint-Urbain) is equipped with a ramp and drop-off area, outdoors and indoors, to facilitate access for people with reduced mobility or who use wheelchairs.
Parking
People with reduced mobility have access to a number of reserved indoor parking spaces at Place des Arts (1450, rue Saint-Urbain). Learn more at the parking attendant’s box or reserve your space by calling 514 842-2112.
Reserved seats for wheelchair users
Several seats are set aside in each show venue for people who use wheelchairs. For access, you need to obtain special tickets at the Place des Arts box office wicket or by telephone at 514 842-2112 (or toll free at 1 866 842-2112). Simply specify that you need a ticket for a person who uses a wheelchair.
Mobility assistance inside the venues
During show times, a customer service representative is specially assigned to assisting people with reduced mobility. To obtain assistance, simply come to the show venue entrance. You will also be accompanied out of the venue at the end of the performance.
Hearing-impaired people
All venues at Place des Arts are equipped with an audio system that enables people who are hearing-impaired to tune in to the show’s signal. Simply bring your portable radio or music device with headphones and tune in to the dedicated frequency for your show venue:
