Each year, Danse Danse supports artists by making rehearsal spaces available, thereby allowing them to deepen several aspects of their creative work. Choreographer Victor Quijada and his company RUBBERBAND, will be in residence at Théâtre Maisonneuve at Place des Arts.
Fascinated by the raw dynamics of hip hop / break and by the purity of classical formalism, Victor Quijada and his dancers will explore the transitioning of the body from vertical to horizontal, the division of space using the body, decision making and use of rhythmic variations.
